About Kimberly

Kimberly Cook received a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Radford University. In addition, she studied at Dance Theatre of Harlem in New York and in London, England. Her zeal for arts has been viewed on national television and has created a platform for teaching and performing across the U.S. She has danced for Cole Porter’s 100th Birthday gala at Carnegie Hall, Independence Day Celebration in Washington, DC with performers Roberta Flack and Lou Rawls, as well as, Birmingham Children’s Theatre, just to name a few. As a result of her extensive studies in dance, a strong sense of discipline was instilled which subsequently equipped her with tools to receive her Juris Doctorate from Miles Law School. While pursuing her degree in Law, she attended Faith Chapel Christian Center where her dance ministry was birthed. Ms. Cook has appeared in numerous dance events, under the direction of Bishop and Mrs. T.D. Jakes, such as Woman Thou Art Loosed, a Tribute to Shirley Ceasar, and many others. Kimberly has taught and performed in numerous venues across the United States and internationally, including the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa, Carnegie Hall in New York City, and the Independence Day Celebration in Washington, DC. Kimberly also works with Donna Richardson Joyner in leading fitness workshops internationally and nationally in schools, churches and health organizations.

In 2001 Ms. Cook received her certification in Pilates. As a Pilates and Record instructor, Kimberly combines her discipline and zeal for movement to help clients develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Kimberly earned her Advanced Teacher Training diploma from The Pilates Center's intensive Bridge Program, as well as completed her Host Advisor training, in 2017. These achievements qualify Kimberly as a masterful teacher of teachers and a pillar of growth for CORE's Pilates trainees.

in 2004 Ms. Cook established Artistry of Grace, the mission of this company is to touch the hearts of people through artistic expression. This is done through various forms of creative seminars, workshops, mentorships, and retreats using ballet, tap, jazz, modern, choreography, and pilates. The purpose in forming this company is to be a vehicle, which offers a service of excellence that will impact and change the lives of men, women, and children allowing them to be productive citizens.

In 2013 Échappé for girls was developed. Échappé, the ability to escape from life to “Restore, Refresh and Rejuvenate” oneself, the newest subsidiary of the company, is centered on nurturing the physical, spiritual and emotional well being of teenage girls. Artistry of Grace, LLC is the vehicle which offers a service of excellence that will impact and change the lives of men and women for generations to come.
